Cookie policy

Last updated: beta version

Beta version: this is a provisional notice. The operator's details and other missing elements will be completed before the commercial launch.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that the websites you visit send to your device, where they are stored to be sent back to the same sites on your next visit. Similar technologies, such as the browser’s local storage (localStorage), allow information to be kept on the device for similar purposes.

This policy describes the cookies and similar tools used by the «Choose Your Talent» Platform and how you can manage them.

2. Technical and necessary cookies

The Platform uses only technical cookies, necessary for the service to work and to provide the features requested by the user. No consent is required for these cookies.

  • Authentication and session cookies: manage access to the reserved area and keep the user signed in while browsing.
  • Security cookies: prevent abuse and attacks, for example protection against request forgery (CSRF).
  • Language preference cookies: store the selected language (Italian or English) to display content in the correct language.

3. Similar tools (local storage)

To improve the user experience, the Platform may save some interface preferences in the browser’s local storage (localStorage), for example the state of the side navigation bar. This information stays on the user’s device and is not transmitted to third parties.

4. Third-party cookies

During payment and subscription management operations, the Platform relies on the provider Stripe. On the pages dedicated to payment, Stripe may set its own technical and security cookies necessary to process the transaction and prevent fraud. These cookies are managed directly by Stripe as an independent controller.

For more information, you can consult Stripe’s cookie and privacy policy on the provider’s website.

5. No profiling or marketing cookies

At present the Platform does not use profiling cookies, third-party statistical analytics cookies or marketing cookies, and does not carry out advertising based on cookies. Should tools requiring consent be introduced in the future, the user will be informed in advance and consent will be requested through a dedicated banner.

6. Managing and disabling cookies

Users can manage or disable cookies through their browser settings. Disabling technical and necessary cookies may, however, impair the correct functioning of the Platform, in particular access to the reserved area.

Instructions for managing cookies are available on the support pages of the main browsers (for example Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Edge).

7. Controller and updates

The data controller is being defined: its identifying and contact details will be communicated before the commercial launch, in line with what is stated in the privacy policy.

This policy may be updated over time to reflect regulatory or technical changes. Any variations will be published on this page.
